Dress for Success

Albuquerque’s weather in mid-September is absolutely perfect. As the race begins atop the city’s iconic Sandia Mountains average morning temperatures average mid 40’s. We encourage runners to dress in layers to adapt to the changing temperatures as they descend the mountain. Expect it to be cooler at the beginning of the race, with warm and sunny conditions the further you near the finish line.

Be sure to check the weather prior to the race to make sure you’re up to date with any unexpected changes such as rain, wind, etc.
